Welwyn RFC sealed London 3NW promotion after a mammoth 100-0 whitewash of already-relegated Old Streetonians on Saturday.
A document sent to Welwyn Hatfield Council by fire service chiefs urged planners to consider allowing the two fire stations to be converted into homes.
